John Girvan is a blacksmith at the Canal Forge, Devizes and is known as a local historian, and creator of the popular Devizes Ghost Walk. John hosts a variety of local guided walks and illustrated talks and slide shows, including the Devizes Ghost Walk, and Devizes Heritage Walk. He is also the author of a number of local books, most recently publishing Deeper Under Devizes. John has made a number of TV appearances, including filming ghost investigations with Derek Acorah, and Michaela Strachan.
